Unsatisfactory Service

AT&T has not contacted me about my review. I cancelled my subscription for its IT technical support. I have nothing more to add to my review.

Foreign technicians are often difficult to understand, arrogant and rude. Recently, the assigned technician does not have the expertise to fix the problem. Long delays are encountered for a simple fix. The two-step process is annoying. For example, an initial call is made for assistance; however, the customer must first speak to a "sup" before being assigned to a technician. The "hand over" of the case from "sup" to technician is met with another delay while waiting for the technician to pick up on the "chat". In 2017 and 2018, I had Connec Tech service and spoke to a technician in North America. Now, when I request a technician in North America my request is denied with the excuse that the "sup" does not have this access. This I doubt. I will look for another technical support service.

Rude and incompetent

I called for service regarding my PC. I spent hours on the phone with them for 2 days and was repeatedly disconnected with no follow up and having to repeatedly restart the process. The technicians were impatient and rude. They never were able to fix the problem. I finally called another company that fixed my computer within an hour. Do not waste your money on this service.

I tried to change my payment to checking account only/ What changed was my due date and the auto-pay. I now have paid 3 times in a week????

Very Dissatisfied

ConnecTech Service is what AT&;T calls an 'add-on'. Short version, they charged me for service that should have been included in installation and have continued to bill me monthly for years - NO way to contact them. Latest attempt I was on hold for two hours and never spoke to a representative. I finally had to close my credit acc't and open a new one.

User's recommendation: Avoid at all costs, do NOT authorize any sort of recurring payment.

Poor service

I truly believe that you don't care for your job. Interrupt, the ppl will not pay attention. ATT this is the worst service ever I can't believe that ATT has a contract with them. This is the problem and this will cause you to lose a lot of customers.

Total failure of attempt to get service advice!

AT&;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;T website advises me to call Att Connectech for help and advice. So, I called and got incredibly dumb AI voice response that understood nothing I was asking for. Had lousy canned advice telling me to go back to the website and then hung up on me. For over $300 plus per month AT&T customer service really sucks.

they force you to pay them and they do not fix anything. I called every day for a week for the EXACT SAME PROBLEM AND NO ONE HELPED

Poor Service - a rip off.

Charging me $15 but can't get a hold of them. I've been waiting 2 weeks to talk to a tech. All they can do is bill me. I'm denying the monthly charge on my credit card. I know they are short staffed right now, but I'm not paying for something I'm not receiving.OaP

Do not work with this entity

I subscribed to them as I was having a network issue that AT&;;;;;;;;;;;;;;T support could not solve and this was their suggestion. Connect Tech was NOT able to solve the problem either. By then I had subscribed for a year. I tried to cancel and was told to wait for the year to be up or I would pay yet an additional fee for EARLY TERMINATION. I waited till a month before the expiration date of the contract, and tried again to cancel and now was told to avoid an extra fee I had to call on the EXACT day the contract ended to avoid more fees. I ended up paying the additional fee and submitting this review. In Summary, they did not and could not solve the issue I had engaged them for, and then on top of the fee to engage them paid an additional fee to get rid of them. Find an alternative!!

don't buy. scam. Went to cancel. They said i had to keep service for one year. I was billed monthy to my credit card. Said there was a fee to cancel. would not stop. When I talked with at&t they know nothing about it. I think it is some 3rd party *** I am not prejudice but anytime I have dealt with Indian speaking people they seem to screw me

NEver, ever use Connect Tec

The company charged me almost $400 for long term support. Unfortunately, I allow the Connectech rep to remotely log into my computer. My system was not the same after that and I had to take it to a repair shop to repair the damage that connect tech caused. I can hardly believe that AT&;;;;;;;;T is affiliated with such a disreputable company. My complaint is that Connect Tech continues to call me when I've asked them not to. They call my home number and my cell number. It's too much and borderline harassment!

All of these "experts" are ***

1 day out of the blue, I lost my access to my own business website. I can access my website using mobile cell network, on outside networks, just not from my home network. ATT tried to push this off to my isp and site admin. After over 2 months of "tech support" with over 1 dozen "experts" in 3 different departments, still can't access my own damn website.

You are a dumb f* to even use AT&T connectech. They are the legalized version of scammers.

If you can't fix your petty issues in your computer just by googling, or contacting your computer vendor.

Maybe you shouldn't have it. Dont use a computer.
